If you have a name in mind that you would like to register, you can conduct a search to find out if it is available. If you do not have a name in mind and would like to see some suggestions, try the SUGGEST A NAME tool.

To register your domain name, perform the following steps:

Step one: Choose one of the following options:

Search for a domain name

Step two: Go to the Verio Order Lookup Domain page.

Step three: In the www. text box, enter the domain that you want to register. From the drop-down menu, click to choose a top-level domain (TLD) (.com, .net, .org, etc).

Note: A TLD is used to identify the type of domain that you are registering. For example, a .com TLD is used to identify commercial or business-related Web sites. The .net TLD is used for Web sites that serve primarily as networks where site visitors can get information about a specific topic (for example, www.eaststlouissurvivors.net). Likewise, a .org TLD is usually used by organizations that deal with a specific, often non-profit, issue (for example, www.worldbirdfund.org).

Step four: Click CHECK FOR AVAILABILILTY.
