The migration process should take care of most account transfer items so that your web site and domain email function correctly on the new server. BUT you will need to take action if you use your web site IP address for any web site functionality. Details are provided in the customer notification and Migration Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

We want to provide you with the highest quality Web hosting experience throughout your server move. The following pages are available as information for you during this account migration. Please see Migrations Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and the Control Panel Introduction Server Move Checklist.

The migration process should take care of most account transfer issues so that your web site and domain email function correctly on the new server. Your new account represents a different webhosting plan, you will want to become familiar with. Please see the support website at Signature Hosting Support and Control Panel Introduction.

After your migration is completed, please login to your new account Control Panel (with your original user id and password) and check to make sure all your email accounts are correctly configured. Some Web sites are easier to move than others. It should be noted that not all features will migrate. Below is a list of features that should migrate well:

  • Static web content (html pages)
  • POP users, email forwards and autoresponders
  • Microsoft FrontPage applications
  • Forms Processor pages
You should receive an email similar to the following:

Dear [cust_first_name],

You have been Verio's customer for the past 9 years,
since Webcom was purchased by Verio in 1999. We
want to provide you with all of the advances we have
made in these years. We want to inform you of the
changes to your hosting services. In an effort to provide
the best possible service, we are discontinuing several of
Verio's legacy platforms, including the Webcom servers,
and replacing them with our current generation platform
with new hardware and software. We are confident you will
like all new features as well as greater server reliability.

What you will get with this change is more features,
improved functionality and the best support available
in the industry. This migration will be done at no cost
to you and will require little or no effort on your part.
Your account with the userid of **Your user here** is
scheduled to migrate on **Date** The new account will be
moved to Signature Hosting. We invite you to read more about
